EVENTS

            Goodwill Employee Wellness Day - On September 16, 2026, during this 5-hour event at the Doubletree Hotel, Nobi, with help from Ali Khoub in the last couple of hours, provided 81 5NP treatments to Goodwill employees. 

            Sisters in Service – This was a first time event organized by Banner Health for women veterans at Pima Community College West Campus. The organizers gave us space for our table near the outside of the meeting area so that we were able to set up our 6 recliners along the far wall. Banner would like AW5NP to attend a similar event in Sierra Vista in early 2027.

            Tohono O’odham One Stop Job Fair – On September 29, 2026, Ruthy Ross and I went to this event which was held at the San Xavier Recreation Center, about half a mile from San Xavier del Bac Mission. The organizers provided Ruthy with a special room providing a much quieter and darker environment. 

            United Way Caregiver Appreciation Day – Saturday, November 14, 2026, at Tucson Village Farm, 11am – 3pm. Caregiving is extraordinarily stressful and isolating. This is a population that would benefit a great deal from 5NP and seeds or beads 

CLINICS

            House of Neighborly Service, 243 W. 33^rd Street – Our last Sunday 5NP clinic at HNS is scheduled for October 4, 2026. AW5NP has reliably provided the Sunday clinic on a weekly basis at HNS since August 2023. 

            YWCA of Southern Arizona, 525 North Bonita Avenue – AW5NP will resume our Sunday 5NP clinic from 2-4pm at the YWCA headquarters on Bonita beginning November 1, 2026. 

GOODWILL IMPACT YOUTH CENTER, 2990 WEST INA ROAD – AW5NP has held this 5NP clinic weekly on Wednesdays from 1:30-3:30pm for about 18 months. 

AMITY FOUNDATION - CIRCLE TREE RANCH, 10,500 EAST TANQUE VERDE – Amity-CTR is a large, longstanding residential treatment facility on the far east side of Tucson. AW5NP has taken 5NP training classes to Amity since November 2024 and has operated a biweekly 5NP clinic on Saturdays from 1-3pm for over a year. We always treat between 30 - 45 very grateful residents and staff when we are out there. 

ETANO CENTER, 3956 EAST PIMA STREET – In June of this year AW5NP began providing 5NP to patients at Etano Center, a small outpatient treatment facility in the center of town. 

5NP TRAINING

AW5NP completed its most recent training of 9 trainees on September 20. We have scheduled the 5NP training for 2027 on the following dates: January 22-24, 2027; June 11-13, 2027; and September 17-19, 2027. The training will follow the usual 3—day format, with the trainees providing 5NP treatments at Amity on Saturday afternoon. More information is available on the AW5NP website under 5NP Training.
