We have recently begun using a simple one page survey to get feedback from the participants in our regular AcuWellness5NP clinic on Sunday afternoons at the House of Neighborly Service (HNS). That clinic has been operating continuously in one of the poorest parts of Tucson since August 2023. Below are some of the comments we have received.

“Just soothing experience.”

“I’ve been taking things one day at a time. Not letting stressful situations overcome me with anger, loneliness or sadness.”

“Hard to gage sometimes, but know it has to be helping in some capacities” (from participant who has regularly attended on Sunday for over a year)

“Weight loss, helps with trauma, and I feel so calm afterwards.”

“Catches up on my sleep.”

“I am a cancer survivor since 2021 and its helped keep my overall health stable.”

“Reduction in hypertension.”

“Not overthinking.”

“I feel so calm and relaxed (no stress whatsoever) when those needles are placed in my ears. I’m not sure exactly how but it works.”
